Your health. Deeply understood.
Personally planned.
Primary care, longevity medicine, and focused regenerative care—connected through one individualized clinical relationship.
YOUR PROVIDER. YOUR HEALTH. YOUR GAMEPLAN.
Understand what’s happening.
Decide what matters next.
Your consultation connects your goals and medical history with the information that could help guide your care. Bring existing results—we start with what is already known.
Selected for your needs. Tests are considered after clinical review, not automatically ordered for every patient. Availability, location, frequency, and inclusion vary by membership. Outside labs, imaging, and testing may carry separate charges, confirmed before you proceed.
-
Explore blood sugar, cholesterol, organ function, and other markers relevant to your history, symptoms, and treatment plan.
Metabolic and cardiovascular health: glucose, HbA1c, a lipid panel, and selected markers such as ApoB or lipoprotein(a).
General health: blood counts and kidney or liver markers when indicated.
Targeted questions: thyroid, hormone, or nutrient testing when your clinical picture calls for it.
Alex interprets results in context and determines which changes need follow-up. A larger panel is not automatically more useful.
-
Review blood pressure, family history, prior screenings, and age- and risk-appropriate cancer, cardiovascular, and bone-health screening. Discuss what is due and coordinate the right next step.
Screening has benefits and limitations, including false-positive and false-negative results. A normal result cannot rule out every condition.
-
Depending on the scan performed, DEXA can assess bone mineral density or estimate body fat and lean tissue. These are different assessments with different clinical purposes.
Alex can help connect the findings to your bone health, nutrition, movement, or monitoring plan. DEXA uses a low dose of X-rays; pregnancy and other suitability considerations are reviewed before testing.
-
Exercise testing that measures oxygen use can help assess aerobic fitness and inform an individualized activity plan. It adds a functional perspective alongside bloodwork and body composition.
Testing is arranged with an appropriate facility after reviewing exercise safety and suitability. The protocol and interpretation depend on the clinical question.
-
Review existing imaging and consider targeted studies or specialist referrals when they could answer a specific clinical question—for example, evaluating a joint concern or clarifying cardiovascular risk.
Imaging is selected individually. It can reveal incidental findings, lead to further testing, and, with some methods, involve radiation. This is not a recommendation for routine whole-body scanning.

For the life we still want to live.
Hello, I’m Alex.
When I think about the years ahead, I picture being an active grandfather. Joining the walk. Taking the trip. Getting down on the floor to play with my grandchildren—and getting back up.
I want the strength, energy, and freedom to participate in the life my family and I are building. That hope is at the heart of why I started Longevity Concierge Med.
My wife, Juliana, and I are both fifth-generation Chicagoans. We grew up with deep roots and strong family ties. We also watched people we loved reach older age with pain, illness, and limited mobility that gradually narrowed their world.
Seeing that loss of independence stayed with us. We began asking what we could do today to give ourselves—and our children—a better chance of living those later years differently.
What do you want to still be doing in the final decades of your life?
Why Hawaiʻi became home
Our relationship with Hawaiʻi began long before we moved here. We had visited the islands since we were younger, and Maui was one of our first trips together as a couple. In 2020, we returned with Juliana’s mother. Those memories became especially precious after we lost her suddenly to pancreatic cancer.
During the pandemic, I came to Hawaiʻi to support the emergency response. We returned to Chicago in 2021. As I transitioned into my role as a family nurse practitioner, I continued studying with experienced clinicians in regenerative medicine and pain management.
But we kept coming back to what everyday life in Hawaiʻi had felt like for our family. We moved more. We spent more time outside. Wellness was woven into our days. We noticed our children were sick less often and that their illnesses seemed less severe.
Those experiences made us think carefully about the habits our children would inherit from us. We could honor where we came from while being intentional about the life we built next.
We eventually chose Hawaiʻi as our permanent home. It was a family decision, rooted in how we wanted to live each day and what we hoped to make possible for the generations after us.
Why I started LCM
My family’s experience and my clinical work kept bringing me to the same place: the life a person hopes to live deserves a meaningful role in their care.
That requires time to listen. It means understanding your history, how you feel, what matters to you, and what you want to keep doing. It means putting relevant health information into context, discussing appropriate preventive care and treatment options, and following through as your needs change.
I started LCM to create that kind of relationship. A place where we can connect what we learn about your health to a practical gameplan—and keep returning to it together.
Where longevity and concierge care meet
Concierge medicine describes a more personal, ongoing care relationship, typically supported by a membership. At LCM, it means attentive care, continuity, and a provider who takes the time to know you.
Longevity brings a longer view: your health, function, independence, and quality of life in the decades ahead. Together, they shape how I practice—proactively, with thoughtful use of data, and always in the context of the person in front of me.
There is more health information available than ever. My role is to help you understand what is relevant to you and turn that understanding into decisions we can make together.
What “Grow Young” means to us
For our family, it means continuing to cultivate strength, movement, connection, and curiosity. Making room for the things that keep life full. Preparing to be active grandparents and staying involved in the lives of the people we love.
We cannot plan every outcome. We can begin making the life we want part of the conversation today.
So, close your eyes for a moment. Picture those later decades. What do you want to still be doing?
Let’s build care around that.
With care,
Alexander Acevedo
